Hannah Baumstein MSN, MSEd, BSN, CRNP, RN, LPC, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

My approach to treating mental health is deeply rooted in a holistic perspective. I believe in the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit, and I emphasize the importance of addressing all these facets for a comprehensive healing process. I encourage my patients to engage in therapy, maintain a regular exercise routine, and adopt a balanced diet to complement their medication regimen.

While I am generally a careful and conservative prescriber, I recognize the importance of aggressive medication strategies when the situation demands it. My extensive knowledge in medication is complemented by my therapeutic techniques, which are influenced by the principles of Carl Rogers, emphasizing positive regard, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This combination ensures that my patients receive a well-rounded treatment approach tailored to their unique needs.

Open communication and education form the cornerstone of my practice. I believe that when patients are well-informed and actively involved in their treatment decisions, it enhances their chances of improvement. By fostering a collaborative environment, I aim to empower my patients, helping them navigate their mental health journey with confidence and resilience.”
